Teter's Halfpipe Record
Teter became a world power in women's halfpipe snowboarding with her gold medal at Torino. In 2009, she placed first at both the U.S. Snowboarding Grand Prix and the Burton Australian Open. Prior to Torino, Teter placed third at the World Championships. Overall, she has six World Cup wins in ten appearances.Teter Takes Halfpipe Silver

Halfpipe snowboarding is a competition where each boarder performs a series of tricks and maneuvers in an area shaped like a pipe cut in half the long way.
