Teams in Super Bowl XLVIII
It's going to be the Seattle Seahawks vs. the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII on Sunday, February 2, 2014. The final contenders were chosen following the AFC and NFC finals on January 19. The 49ers fell to the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos eliminated the New England Patriots. Even though the 49ers won't be in the game, the Super Bowl always attracts big crowds at all of these Reno area Super Bowl parties.

The Big Game Party 2014 kicks off at 2:30 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom. Tickets are $29.99 and $250 for a reserved table of 10. The cats and dogs at Nevada Humane Society are gearing up for Super Bowl XLVIII by supporting both the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos. From January 24 through Super Bowl Sunday on February 2, adult dogs can be adopted for $18, in honor of the Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, and adult cats may be adopted for $3, in honor of the Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. The starting lineup includes a variety of breeds and personalities, and all dogs and cats are competing for the MVP, with the prize being a home of their very own. During Super Bowl weekend, February 1 – 2, all adopters will receive their very own Nevada Humane Society football.
