Television Stations, Cable TV, and Satellite TV

You can get several local TV channels with an antenna or rabbit ears. How well depends on where you are. If you want the full spectrum, though, you can choose between cable and satellite to satisfy your home entertainment needs.
KTVN: Channel 2
You can get this local CBS affiliate with rabbit ears. I like the weather guy, Mike Alger.
KRNV: Channel 4
Local NBC affiliate, rabbit ears work for tuning in.
KNPB, Northern Nevada Public Television: Channel 5
Get this channel with rabbit ears if need be, and enjoy programming with minimum commercialization.
KOLO: Channel 8
This ABC affiliate can be picked up with rabbit ears.
KRXI: Channel 11
Fox TV affiliate for the Reno / Tahoe area, also viewable with an antenna.
KAME: Channel 21
My21TV is the Reno affiliate of MyNetworkTV, co-managed with KRXI Fox channel 11.
Sierra Nevada Community Access Television (SNCAT)
SNCAT provides a number of community services, including transmitting public, education and government cable channels in the Reno / Tahoe area.
Charter Cable
Charter is the cable television provider for the Reno / Tahoe region.
DirecTV
Satellite TV directly from outer space to you.
Dish Network
Another satellite TV provider doing business in the Reno / Tahoe area.
