I've never been here when this place wasn't busy. There's a huge Raley's market and lots of nice stores, restaurants, and a popular sports bar. Try Blackrock Pizza for a pleasant surprise; not your standard pizza.

Located at McCarran Blvd. & Pyramid Highway, a bustling crossroads in Sparks.

D'Andrea Marketplace

This open-air center serves one of Sparks' more upscale subdivisions. There's a great variety of restaurants and shops, including anchors Safeway and Long's Drugs.

Find D'Andrea Marketplace at the intersection of Vista Blvd. & N. D'Andrea Parkway in Sparks.

Find an interesting collection of boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, a movie theater, and other businesses along the Truckee River corridor in downtown Reno.

Wells Avenue has been literally raised from the dead through efforts from the City of Reno, local businesses, and area residents. This is the most mixed up shopping area in Reno, which is a good thing. Where else can you find an Irish pub next to a Mexican foods market next to a southern BBQ restaurant.

Park Lane Mall: R.I.P.

The Park Lane Mall was demolished in early 2008, a victim of low-occupancy, old age, and decay. It had been renovated a couple of times before, but one more time wasn't going to happen. The Park Lane Century Theatre remains at the south end of the block. What's next for the property at S. Virginia Street and Plumb Lane has not been announced.
