Guide Review - India Kabab and Curry Restaurant
India Kabab and Curry has been consistently ranked in the top tier of Reno's Indian restaurants. The dining area is tastefully and conservatively decorated, with enough light to see your food and friends. The staff is polite and efficient without being overbearing. After placing your order, food comes to the table quickly. My party enjoyed a curry chicken dish called Murg Tikka Masala, a vegetarian choice named Aloo Mutter, Basmati rice, Naan, and tea. The hot dishes were served in bowls to be shared among the group, and placed on candle-fired trivets to keep them warm during the meal. We ordered mild on the spicy scale and all was prepared as requested. The food was flavorful and a pleasure to eat. I've learned the hard way that westerners will be flamed out if they try to eat at the heat level enjoyed by Indians who grew up with it.
