Reno marriage licenses are easily obtained and most wedding chapels will help you with the paperwork so your wedding day is happy rather than a hassle.

Getting a Marriage License in Washoe County, Nevada

Marriage License Bureau, Washoe County Clerk's Office. Includes Reno, Sparks, Incline Village, and the northeast corner of Lake Tahoe.

Reno Office: 75 Court St., Reno, NV 89502. (775) 328-3274.

Hours:
8 a.m. to 12 midnight, Monday through Sunday

Fee is $60 (as of 5/15/09). Application is good for one year. Both parties must be present to receive a license. Accepts payment in cash, VISA, MasterCard, money order, travelers' checks. Both parties must be present to receive a license.

Getting a Marriage License in Douglas County, Nevada

Douglas County Clerk Marriage Licenses. Includes Stateline, Zephyr Cove, Genoa, Minden, Gardnerville, and the southeast side of Lake Tahoe.

Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Sundays & Holidays: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas)
Christmas Eve open to 5:00 p.m.
New Year's Eve open to 6:00 p.m.

Clerk on call Friday: 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Clerk on call Sunday & Holidays: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Fee is $60. Fee does not include a certified copy of the marriage certificate which is available for an additional $10.00. Fee is payable by cash, cashiers check, money order, Visa or MasterCard. Applications are good for one year. Both parties must be present to receive a license.

Getting a Marriage License in El Dorado County, California

El Dorado County Marriage License Issuance. Includes the city of South Lake Tahoe and the southwest corner of Lake Tahoe.

Hours:
8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
Marriage licenses issued until 4:30 p.m. Closed major holidays.

Fee is $60. Both parties must be present to receive a license.
