Register for Reno River Festival Events

You can sign up and register online for events at the Reno River Festival. By pre-registering online for Reno River Festival events, you will reserve your spot in the competitions as well as ensuring that necessary waivers are signed, your registration packet is completed, and most importantly, you get the right size T-shirt. However, on-site registration will be available on Friday and Saturday.

Find out what's happening and when with the 2011 Reno River Festival Schedule of Events. Beer fans will enjoy the Biggest Little Homebrew Competition, a new event for those who make their own suds.

Kayak Open Freestyle - $40 per participant. Online registration through May 5. On-site registration through 11 a.m. May 6. Competition on Friday and Saturday, May 6 and 7. Competitors are divided into men’s, women’s and junior’s divisions.

Kayak Slalom - $40 per participant. Online registration through May 5. On-site registration through 9 a.m. May 6. Competition on Saturday, May 7. Prizes for the top three finishers in each class.

Stand Up Paddleboard - $40 per participant. Online registration through May 5. On-site registration through 5 p.m. May 7. Competition on Sunday, May 8. Prizes for the top three competitors down the class III course.

Open Boatercross - $40 per participant. Online registration through May 5. On-site registration through 5 p.m. May 7. Competition on Sunday, May 8. Competitors are divided into men’s, women’s and junior’s divisions. Prizes for the top three competitors in each division.

Kayaking Clinics - Free. On Saturday and Sunday, May 7 and 8. Registration for the free clinics is on-site only at the event registration booth on Arlington Avenue. First come, first served. Check out the 2011 Reno River Festival Schedule of Events for clinic times.

Run Amuck - $35 per mucker (2-person teams). Online registration through May 5. On-site registration through 12 noon. May 7. Competition on Saturday, May 7. The annual costume contest takes place immediately prior to the race at 12:30 p.m. on the Wingfield Stage and the run begins at 2 p.m. This is a relay race with the "baton" being a bar of soap.

Biggest Little Homebrew Challenge - $30 per entry, max 3 entries per brewer. Check out the official rules and get your brews and entry form in by April 29. Only 50 entries will be accepted. Cash and gift certificate prizes.
