About the Reno Bighorns
The Reno Bighorns are a professional basketball team in the Development League (D-League) of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The D-League is the official minor league of the National Basketball Association (NBA), much like the Triple-A league is to Major League Baseball.
For the 2012 - 2013 season, the Reno Bighorns will be affiliated with the NBA Sacramento Kings, Utah Jazz, and Memphis Grizzlies. The Reno Bighorns are locally - owned by Bighorns Basketball, LLC.
Attending Reno Bighorns Basketball Home Games
The Bighorns play home games at the Reno Events Center, 400 N. Center Street, Reno, NV 89501. There is limited parking just across the street in the parking structure of the National Bowling Stadium and on nearby streets. Reno casinos also have parking available, some of which is free and some that requires validation.
Bruno the Bighorn, the team mascot, is great fun for everyone and puts on a good show for the fans at home games. The Bighorns Dance Team is also at home games to entertain fans and cheer on the team.
Reno Bighorns Kids Zone
The "Bighorns Kids Zone presented by Sierra Family Jumpers" will feature over ten kid - friendly businesses, each providing a free, interactive activity. Other participants will include Jump N Shout, BJ's Hair Shop, Next Generation Kids Learning Center, Creative Arts Center, Take 2 Performers, 360 Martial Arts, Sierra Safari Zoo, Kiwanis, Lowes Build and Grow Clinics, Dentistry for Kids, and Battle Front Paintball.
Tickets for Reno Bighorns Basketball Home Games
Bighorns fans can get single game tickets starting at $8 and season tickets at various prices. There are also rates for groups of 20 or more. For more ticket information, call (775) 284-2NBA (2622).
