About the Reno Bighorns

The Reno Bighorns are a professional basketball team in the Development League (D-League) of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The D-League is the official minor league of the National Basketball Association (NBA), much like the Triple-A league is to Major League Baseball.

For the 2013 - 2014 season, the Reno Bighorns will be a single affiliation partnership with the NBA Sacramento Kings. The Bighorns will also have a new head coach this season - Joel Abelson. The Reno Bighorns are locally - owned by Bighorns Basketball, LLC.

Attending Reno Bighorns Basketball Home Games

The Bighorns play home games at the Reno Events Center, 400 N. Center Street, Reno, NV 89501. There is limited parking just across the street in the parking structure of the National Bowling Stadium and on nearby streets. Reno casinos also have parking available, some of which is free and some that requires validation.

Bruno the Bighorn, the team mascot, is great fun for everyone and puts on a good show for the fans at home games. The Lady Bighorns Dance Team is also at home games to entertain fans and cheer on the team.

Reno Bighorns Kids Zone

The Reno Bighorns Kids Zone is presented by Sierra Family Jumpers and will feature a number of ten kid - friendly businesses, each providing a free, interactive activity. Other participants will include 360 Martial Arts, Next Generation Kids Language Academy, Fairy Tale Ballet, BJ's Hair Shop, Dentistry for Kids, X Marks the Spot, Lowes Build and Grow, Sierra Safari Zoo, and Take 2 Performers Studio.

Tickets for Reno Bighorns Basketball Home Games

Bighorns fans can get single game tickets starting at $8 and season tickets at various prices. There are also rates for groups of 20 or more. For more ticket information, call (775) 284-2NBA (2622).
