Family New Year's Eve Party at Squaw Valley - Celebrate East Coast Toast at High Camp with a fabulous night on the mountain at Squaw Valley. This all-ages party includes a lavish buffet and begins at 6 p.m. A children's buffet will also be available. The Toast does not include a cable car ride to High Camp, but season passes and day tickets will work. New Year's Eve in Olympic House at Squaw Valley - After enjoying the fireworks show at 9 p.m. (best viewed from the KT Base Bar), get over to the Olympic House for a New Year's Eve party and bring in 2014 with a bang. This is a 21+ celebration (ID required).
A Heavenly New Year Celebration - Ring in the New Year with Heavenly during Heavenly's New Year's Eve celebration. Come for an evening packed with world-class entertainment, interactive games, fireworks show, and the world's only "Gondola Ball Drop." Activities get started at 6 p.m. Entertainment includes an outdoor concert, an ice sculpting performance by Fear No Ice, Fire Groove fire dancers and KRLT's Steve Harness as MC. Lake Tahoe SnowGlobe Music Festival - December 29 - 31, 2013. This will be the third annual SnowGlobe Music Festival. For three days, the festival will rock Lake Tahoe's South Shore, offering shows by world-class musicians, including Kaskade, Cut Copy, Snoop Dogg, Zeds Dead, Beats Antique, Gramatik, Dillon Francis, Claude Vonstroke, Holly Ghost!, and Killparis, to name a few. More than forty-five acts will perform throughout the weekend, helping ring in an unbeatable New Year's Eve celebration. Ticket information is available online. New Year's Eve at The Crystal Bay Club - The Jackie Greene Band will be rocking the Crystal Bay Club Crown Room to bring in 2014. The after party will feature The Fox Street Allstars. New Year's Eve at Montbleu - The Montbleu Resort Casino in South Lake Tahoe is having a New Year's Eve bash that includes three party zones for one price - Blu Nightclub, Opal Ultra Lounge, and the Convention Center featuring live music by San Francisco's number one party band Glam Cobra. This an adults-only evening, featuring go-go dancers, body painting, party favors, and DJs playing lots of music. The celebration begins at 8 p.m. Tickets are $55 in advance, $75 at the door. New Year's Fireworks in Downtown Reno
If you are in Reno for New Year's Eve, come to the 2012 Reno New Year's fireworks show. There is great viewing from Virginia Street by the Reno Arch. The show is sponsored by the downtown hotel casinos and the City of Reno. Be downtown at midnight for this spectacular fireworks display and fun street party.
