Produce and other goodies from Reno / Tahoe farmers' markets isn't necessarily the cheapest around, but they are the freshest. You'll know what I mean when you taste a farmers' market peach or fresh Nevada grown vegetable. Compared to the supermarket stuff, it's no contest. There's a farmers' market going somewhere near you almost every day of the week.

The undisputed champ of Reno / Tahoe farmers' markets is Sparks Hometowne Farmer's Market, held in Victorian Square on Thursday afternoons and evenings through the summer. Besides the produce, there are vendors offering a variety of food, drink, crafts, and other products. Thousands of people attend this market every week.

West Street Market in downtown Reno is one of our newest farmers' market venues. Market sessions are held on Sundays and feature a variety of attractions in addition to the fresh food.
