Go To The Movies
Reno movie theaters are busy with local residents who love their movies. The metro area supports four multi-screen theaters, a cinema at the Grand Sierra Resort, and very cool film features at the Fleischmann Planetarium.
Let's Go Bowling
Reno bowling is a good old-fashioned way to have fun with the family. Reno, Sparks, and Carson City have a good selection of bowling alleys from which to choose. When it's cold outside (or too hot), a family bowling outing is a great activity.Indoor Playgrounds and Gyms

The National Automobile Museum is at 10 S. Lake St. in downtown Reno. It is open every day except Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. This is a wonderful place to spend a winter day with the family. A movie cars exhibit and movie nights provide great entertainment for kids of all ages.

Enjoy some great basketball and cheer on the Wolf Pack at UNR's Lawlor Events Center. Both the men's and women's teams play a schedule of home games during the winter months.
