Dragons and Dinos is a family nature exhibit at the Wilbur D. May Museum in Reno's Rancho San Rafael Regional Park. Bring your children for a voyage back to the days when dinos and dragons were real.

What is Dragons and Dinos?
Dragons and Dinos is an educational learning experience for parents and children to enjoy together. The exhibit will also be available for teachers and their students as well as other groups. Among other interesting things, Dragons and Dinos will reveal what kinds of prehistoric life still lives among us right here in the Great Basin. During the exhibit's run, special tours called "A Walk Through Time" will be available for $3 per person. These tours include permanent collection tours at no additional cost. Here are some of the fun things to see and do at Dragons and Dinos...- Over half a dozen animatronic dinosaurs from Wonderworks, including stegosaurus, T-rex, a sea serpent, and a 35 foot long Chinese parade dragon.
- European court with knights, ladies, and displays illustrating European dragons along with European beliefs about dragons.
- Asian court with samurais, ladies, and displays illustrating the dragons of the Far East along with Asian beliefs about dragons.
- Five murals of different color dragons along with explanations of the symbolism behind each color.
- An Enchanted Forest where children will be able to dress in medieval costumes, put on puppet shows about knights, dragons and dinosaurs, color dragons and dinosaurs at the coloring table, peek inside a magicians hut, and more.
- Parents may photograph children in cut-outs depicting knights and a dragon or a princess and a dragon.
- Storytelling with Kathleen Durham on selected days during the exhibit (call for details).
