Reno National Championship Air Races and Air Show has something for everyone. The main attraction is actual wingtip-to-wingtip air racing, at speeds exceeding 500 mph for the unlimited racers. Static displays of historic and military aircraft cover the tarmack at Stead Field Airport. Lots of active duty military planes are open to the public, with their crews acting as tour guides.
