Reno and Sparks Dog Parks

Dogs run free at Reno and Sparks dog parks, where leash laws don't apply. Take your pet for an unfettered frolic to socialize with his peers and run off that excess energy. You will likely meet other pet owners for some people socializing as well.

Where I Like to Walk My Dog

There are lots of places for dog walking in the Reno / Tahoe area. Some people like going to the local dog parks and others prefer places where they can walk or jog with their canine pal. Tell us about your favorite dog walking place.

Reno's Hidden Valley Regional Park

Reno's Hidden Valley Regional Park is a wonderful family park with a wide variety of features designed to accommodate various recreational activities. I particularly like the mix of developed and undeveloped areas within this 480 acre park.

Link Piazzo Dog Park at Hidden Valley Regional Park

Hidden Valley Regional Park is the site of Reno's newest place where dogs can run free, the Link Piazzo Dog Park. The park was made possible through a $150,000 donation from local humanitarian Link Piazzo.

City of Reno Dog Parks

Reno has two dog parks with fenced areas designated for off-leash dogs. Be sure to read and abide by the rules and regulations.

Sparks Marina Dog Park

The Sparks Marina Park features a 77 acre lake offering plenty of family fun, including a dog park.
