Irish pubs and bars are alive and well in Reno / Tahoe. In fact, there are a surprising number of these eating and drinking establishments around town. Some get real authentic with Irish food, music, dance, and other entertainment. Come St. Patrick's Day, they all launch special celebrations to commemorate St. Paddy's legendary Irish accomplishments. Driving the snakes out of Ireland is pure blarney (there never were any), but he did introduce Christianity and may have chased few pagans into the sea.
