Courses offered by Washoe County School District Community Education
Since 2012, WDCE personal enrichment classes are offered through the Washoe County School District Community Education program. This arrangement saves money and eliminates redundancy. It's also more convenient for students in that courses and registration offered through both systems are available in one place. In addition, there are even more community education classes available from Washoe County School District Community Education that are not offered through WDCE. Many of these classes are held at school campuses and private businesses throughout the Reno area. Others are at the TMCC Meadowood Center. To learn more about classes, locations, times, dates, and fees, view the online community education course catalog. For more information, call (775) 829-9010.
TMCC Safety Center
The TMCC Safety Center features safety, regulatory compliance, and OSHA courses for businesses and workers needing such training. For assistance registering for classes of this type, call (775) 857-4958. Other TMCC Safety Center courses include forklift safety, lead training, and hazardous waste.
