The Reno Chalk the Walk Streetpainting Festival features professional and amatuer artists. It is open to public participation. The festival is sponsored by the Reno Rodeo and is held at Harrah's Plaza next to the Reno Rodeo Parade route on Virginia Street in downtown Reno. Anyone can reserve a spot and help create a street mural with the 2008 theme of "Where Art Meets the West." If you just show up and want to participate, space will be saved in a walk-up section.
