The Black Rock Rendezvous is held on the Black Rock Desert playa, within the Black Rock Desert High Rock Canyon Emigrant Trails National Conservation Area. The gathering is sponsored by Friends of Black Rock High Rock, the Bureau of Land Management, Nevada Outdoor School, and other organizations. Rendezvous activities include opportunities to learn more about the desert environment, take tours of the Black Rock Desert and surrounding area, and participate in various conservation and educational projects.
