Bully's 8th Annual Free Community Thanksgiving - The Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows and Bully's Sports Bar & Grill prepare a Thanksgiving feast for the masses on Wednesday, Nov. 23 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Donald W. Reynolds Facility on E. Ninth Street in Reno. All members of the community are invited to eat, drink and be merry this Thanksgiving Eve while also taking home a free family photograph and obtaining a free flu shot, thanks to the University of Nevada School of Medicine (UNSOM). Leading up to the Thanksgiving Eve event, all Bully's locations in northern Nevada collect hats, gloves, and new socks to benefit those in need. The community's contributions are presented during the Thanksgiving Eve dinner. In addition, the event serves as a kick-off to the Club’s annual Adopt-a-Family holiday program, which provides holiday gifts for those who may not get the full holiday experience due to uncertain economic circumstances. Registration to receive assistance also is available at the Nov. 23 event.
