15th Annual Halloween Freaker's Ball at Brüka Theatre
Saturday, October 27 - Have a "Wicked Good Time" as Brüka continues the tradition of incredible costumes, theatrical antics, dancing, costume contests and the raffle. Doors will open at 8 p.m. On this 20 year anniversary, there will be a special prize given for best Bruka character from the past. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. You must be 21 and over to attend. This is Brüka's annual "Funraiser." Come down and play with the Freaks. For tickets, call the Bruka box office at (775) 323-3221. 12th Annual Wild Erotic Ball
Friday, October 26 - The 12th Annual Wild Erotic Ball will be at the Silver Legacy Resort Casino in downtown Reno. Come to the hottest Halloween party in town where the tricks and treats are endless. There will be $5,000 in cash and prizes with awards going to most erotic female, most erotic male, most unique, and best couple / tandem / theme. Saturday, October 27 - This sultry Halloween party is at the Edge in the Peppermill Hotel Casino, 2707 S. Virginia Street, Reno. Saturday, October 27 - The Reno Zombie Crawl 2012 starts at 8 p.m. Begin your crawl at either CommRow, St. James Infirmary, or Imperial. For $5, you get a map and a bracelet that will gain you entry into over 40 crawl bars, sign you up for contests, and entitle you to $2 and $3 drink specials. At 7 p.m., before the crawl starts, zombies can gather on Virginia Street for a mass thriller dance under the Reno Arch. The dance to Michael Jackson's Thriller is alcohol - free and open to all ages. Saturday, October 27 - Get on down to John Ascuaga’s Nugget for this Halloween Hoedown. The free party will cast a spell on the Casino Cabaret from 9 p.m. to midnight. Guests will enjoy live hoedown music from Rick Hays & American Steel, drink specials for those in costume, a $1,000 costume contest, and KBUL 98 FM live radio remote. Halloween Happenings at the Eldorado
Friday through Wednesday, October 26 to 31 - Five of the Eldorado's nightclubs will be transformed into Halloween haunts, with cash prize costume contests and reduced cover charges for those in costume. For this Halloween event, the bars will be renamed Ghost Lounge, Stadium Spider Bar, The Blood Brothers, Zombie Lounge, and Sin Sin. Bowloween Tournament
Friday and Saturday, October 26 and 27 - Bowloween offers the chance to win from a $5,000 prize fund. Friday will begin with a free instructional clinic by PBA Teaching Professional Jimmy Sturm, followed by a Welcome Reception and Team Event that evening. Saturday will focus on doubles and singles, with an evening awards presentation and distribution of the prizes. All bowling levels have the same opportunity, with different divisions for men, women, mixed, doubles, singles and league and non - league bowlers. 34th Annual Freaker's Ball at the Montbleu
Saturday, October 27 - The Annual Freaker's Ball at Lake Tahoe's Montbleu will get 21+ adults into four different venues for the price of admission - Opal Ultra Lounge, Blu Nightclub, MontBleu Convention Center, and the Haunted Zone & Party Pit. The party starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are $25 in advance, $30 day of the party. There will be body painting, Go Go dancers, and $10K in costume prizes. Truckee Historical Haunted Walking Tour
Thursday and Friday, October 18 and 19 - This tour is for adults 21+ only. Meet at Moody's Bistro & Lounge, 10007 Bridge Street in Truckee, for this walking tour of downtown Truckee's historic and spooky places. The $35 tickets can be purchased online and include a glass of wine or non-alcoholic beverage, and a raffle. The tour is a benefit for Trails & Vistas and the Truckee Donner Historical Society.
