In my opinion, fall is the most beautiful time of year around the Reno / Tahoe region. The heat is gone, the air is clean and crisp, and our trees and forests give us magnificent colors to enjoy.

All around Reno and the Truckee Meadows, the trees are starting to put on their spectacular display of fall color. It only gets better over the next few weeks, so enjoy the show before winter winds, snow, and cold bring it to an end.
Up at Lake Tahoe and along the Eastern Sierra, the trees are doing fall color in earnest right now. Some of these areas are world-famous for their autumn displays and well worth a little road trip to see and enjoy.
