On Sunday, September, 29, bring the family to Galena Creek Visitor Center and Recreation Area for Galena Fest 2013. The day will feature a wide variety of activities, with something everyone will find fun.

The Festival part of the event (which is free) will have live music from local bands, food and a beer garden, and Art in the Park for kids under 14.
The main events will be The Bloody Rose Mountain Bike Climb and The Wicked Thorn trail run. Each of these requires registration and there is a fee. You can register online ahead of time or at Galena Creek on the day of the event. Two new events will be available in 2013 - Cyclocross ($20 entry on race day) and a Kids' Bike Race (7 and under). Proceeds from Galena Fest 2013 will be used for new trail construction / maintenance and to support many youth programs such as Camp WeChMe.
