Galena Creek Visitor Center is a good place to go for fun family activities during April.

Organized activities include guided spring treks, programs for kids up to 10 years old and as young as 2 years old, nature and environmental book discussions for adults, and presentations about earthquakes and camera obscura. There is also a Spring Break Camp from April 8 through 12, providing educational fun for children while they are out of school.
You don't have to join an organized activity to enjoy visiting Galena Creek Visitor Center and Recreation Area. The park is open daily until dusk for things like hiking, picnicking, and bird watching. During winter, the Galena Creek Visitor Center is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday through Sunday. Summer season hours begin on May 1 (9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday). Parking is free and there are no park entry fees.

Reno, NV was one of the worst places I lived in my entire life.
I am from NYC and was really shocked when I moved to Reno. As a New Yorker I suppose to have a very bad driving skills but in Reno I was a decent driver.
There is no diversity in the town! It’s a very redneck place with tons of cracked heads all over’em. People are not friendly and there is weird sense of hatred in their faces. I’m not even sure what younger people do there except getting high or drunk in Casinos.
The unemployment rate in Reno is now up to 11.7 percent, which is well above the national average of 8.3 percent. Just by driving around you can see tons of empty office buildings with vacancies and retail areas just empty.

Dennis Gilliwog wrote a very negative comment about Reno Well, that is his opinion but if this place is so bad go back to N Y .I am a Former New York er. living here 32 years and love it. I admit it is not the city I came to 32 years ago but after a visit to N Y in Dec. I will take Reno any day.
