It's not always easy to park a car in downtown Reno, especially during one of our numerous special events. However, it's easier if you know where to look.

All of the big casinos have multi-level parking structures - Harrah's, Circus Circus, Eldorado, Silver Legacy, Cal Neva - that are generally free for self-parking, with some periodic restrictions. There are other parking garages as well. Parking on the streets within a few blocks of downtown is metered. Reno uses a system of centrally located kiosks rather than individual meters at each parking slot. Surface lots are scattered about, sometimes requiring a fee, sometimes free, and sometimes not available at all. To better understand the options on where and when you can park, check out my "Parking in Downtown Reno" article.
