Lots of folks think beer in a bottle is best, but participating CANFEST breweries and beer drinkers beg to differ.

On Saturday, November 3, the CANFEST International Canned Beer Festival brings dozens of canned beer brewers together at the downtown Reno Ballroom for an evening to enjoy literally dozens of examples of brewed beverages delivered to drinkers in cans. The main brewery sponsor of this 4th event is Mammoth Brewing Company, with other participants including Oskar Blues, Caldera Brewing, 21st Amendment, Anderson Valley Brewing Company, Sixpoint Brewery, and many more.
Tickets in advance are $25. It will be $35 at the door. Visit the CANFEST website for all the details.
Those interested in specialty brews don't need to indulge only at events like CANFEST. Right here in our neighborhood, we have a number of breweries, microbreweries, and brewpubs, both in the Reno area and up at Lake Tahoe.
