Our Washoe County Library continues to feature outstanding programs and activities each month and July, 2012 is no exception. The variety is amazing, with reading programs for children and teens, family movies, and activities for adults and seniors, to name just a few. All of this is free to library patrons.

Some activities and programs, such as the Summer Reading Program, span the system and others are specific to certain branches. The library activities I've listed give you a look at what's going on during the month, but each branch has additional activities just at that branch. Contact the library near you for details. Here are some of the highlights...
- Summer Reading Program
- Where's Waldo in Reno???
- Cowgirl Tricks
- All You Wanted to Know About Smart Meters
- Close Encounters Wildlife Ed-venture
Library hours keep changing with ongoing budget adjustments. Get details about these changes from my "Washoe County Library Hours and Services" article before heading to your favorite library.
