The Discovery is Reno's newest attraction for families and children. Since it opened in September, 2011, people have found The Discovery to be an amazing place for educational experiences in a fun setting. Kids in particular are enjoying the hands-on aspect of the numerous exhibits.

If you have yet to visit The Discovery, round up some kids and get over to 490 S. Center Street near downtown Reno. Reports I've read tell me you'll be more than pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of exhibits in the museum. Children will like the interactive nature of things and being able to touch and play. You may have trouble getting them out of there once they start exploring.
The Discovery is officially known as the Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum, named after a Reno philanthropist whose foundation provided major funding for the project.
The Discovery isn't Reno's only family-friendly museum. Check out other Museums in Reno for more places to enjoy educational exhibits, art, culture, and history.
