Free admission to the Nevada Museum of Art (NMA) on the second Saturday of the month will continue through 2012. This year, the free day has been combined with the popular hands/ON! activities day, making a monthly event called hands/ON! on 2nd Saturdays.

In addition to free admission to the NMA for everyone, each month hands/ON! on 2nd Saturdays will provide visitors with the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities like art projects, docent-led gallery activities, storytelling, and performances in the theater. There will be a different theme each month. On January 14, come and enjoy Cowboy Up: Trick Roping, Cattle Branding and Campfire Songs (Cowboy Poetry).
While you are at the NMA, be sure to check out the exhibits and other events at the only accredited art museum in Nevada.
Regular admission is $10 general, $8 for students and seniors, $1 for children 6 to 12, and free for members and children 5 and under. NMA hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday. The Nevada Museum of Art is located at 160 W. Liberty Street in downtown Reno.
