The Wolf Pack football team soundly thrashed Idaho (56-3) in its final WAC game ever (moving to the Mountain West Conference in 2012), finishing the regular season at 7-5 overall and tied with Utah State for second in the WAC at 5-2.

While not the stellar season they enjoyed last year, the Wolf Pack still came up on the winning side of the scoreboard enough times to land a post-season bowl game for the seventh consecutive year. They are headed to Aloha Stadium in Honolulu for the Christmas Eve (December 24) playing of the 10th Annual Sheraton Hawai'i Bowl. Their opponent will be Conference USA champion Southern Miss. This will be Nevada's third appearance in this bowl game since 2005.

The Sheraton Hawai'i Bowl will be broadcast on ESPN. Kick-off at 3 p.m. in Hawai'i, 5 p.m. in Nevada. For those of you who plan on being there, get tickets online or by calling 808-548-BOWL.
