Whether you are at home, out shopping, or traveling to grandma's house, staying safe during the holidays is something that will help make the season joyous rather than tragic.
Some precautions are common sense, of course, but we tend to get a little lax when caught up in activities of the moment. Therefore, it's a good idea to slow down just a bit and put some effort into keeping things safe. The Washoe County Sheriff's Office wants to help by reminding us with several tips, some of which may not be so obvious to us, but are quite familiar to the crooks.
