The Eldorado Great Italian Festival is one of Reno's best street parties. Everyone has fun at this free, family-friendly event. Just come to downtown Reno and sing, dance, listen to lively music, enjoy street performers, and sample tasty Italian food. The crowd is there to have a good time and it seems that everyone does.

If you've never seen a grape stomping contest, here's your chance to join the fun and find out how wine used to be made. Italian sports? Join the fun in the bocce ball tournament. Festival goers can sample the flavors at the Great Italian Festival Sauce Cookoff, a serious competition featuring sauces prepared by families originating in various regions of Italy. For street dancing and enjoying lively music, there will be free entertainment on two stages on both days.
The Eldorado Great Italian Festival is held along Virginia Street in front of the Eldorado Hotel Casino. The Festival is October 8 and 9, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
