Museum Day is an annual event sponsored by Smithsonian Magazine. On Saturday, September 24, 2011, you can get free admission to several museums in the Reno / Lake Tahoe area, more in other Nevada locales, and still hundreds more across the country.

To participate in Museum Day, you must fill out and submit the online ticket request form. After receiving your ticket by email, print it out and take it with you for free admission to your participating museum of choice. Each admission is good for one person and a guest. Be sure to read the rules on the ticket request page for details about limitations and restrictions.
