#about - Nevada football coach Chris Ault and his 2011 Wolf Pack team are busy practicing for the upcoming season, which is going to start with a huge game against the Oregon Ducks in Eugene on September 10. The Ducks have a national pre-season ranking of #3, making this game a real test of Ault's post-Colin Kaepernick version of his football team.

The Wolf Pack's first four games this season are on the road, including a game against Boise State on October 1. The Pack beat Boise in a huge upset last season and the Broncos are sure to be a tough opponent on their home field.
The Pack's first home game at Mackay Stadium will be on October 8 vs. UNLV. This will be the traditional Battle for the Fremont Cannon and is always a great game between these intrastate rivals. UNR won last year down in Las Vegas, but that doesn't mean much as these games are always hotly contested no matter where either team stands in the rankings.
If you plan on going to any Wolf Pack home games, be sure to check out the information about getting tickets in my Wolf Pack football article. Games are played at Mackay Stadium, along N. Virginia Street at the north end of the UNR campus.
