#About - No matter where you live in the Reno / Sparks area, there is a nearby skate park available for your boarding / biking / skating pleasure. These are not rinky dink facilities, either. Most are big and well designed, offering riders a variety of features on which to practice their stuff. Both beginners and advanced skaters will find plenty to do at our area skate parks.

The biggest and baddest of all is Rattlesnake Mountain Skate Park at Mira Loma Park in southeast Reno. It has 40,000 square feet of bowls, half pipes, street style banks, curbs, and a 170-foot long snake run.

There is also skateboarding in some Washoe County parks. These places aren't restricted to kids - adults are certainly welcome to join in on the skateboarding fun. And since our area skate parks are in public parks, there is free admission to all of them. Bring your wheels and enjoy the summer sunshine and warm weather.
