#About - If you plan on going to Burning Man 2011 and don't have tickets by now, you are probably out of luck. According to news on the official Burning Man website, they are sold out for the first time in the event's 25 year history. You can't get tickets directly from them, from any of the direct sellers like The Melting Pot in Reno, or at the gate in Black Rock City.

There are, however, people who have tickets and are selling them for whatever reason. In this arena, check places like eBay and craigslist for tickets, but be very wary. The scammers and scalpers are out in force and would be happy to fleece anyone who isn't careful about who they are dealing with and what they are actually buying. Learn more from the Burning Man FAQ about the sold out ticket situation. If you have tickets to sell or are looking to buy, check out the Burning Man piece Buying Tickets from a Third Party and Reselling Your Tickets for tips on how to do either as safely as possible. You'll also learn about known scams and how to avoid being a victim.
