When the weather warms up, the music scene around Reno gets hot. You can be entertained all summer if you want, and the cool thing is that many of the concerts are free. You'll find many of these free concerts to be associated with Artown, but there are lots of others at various venues around the area. Check them all out for a wide variety of free family entertainment this summer.
Another summer idea for those looking for entertainment on the cheap are the free movies throughout the area. There are those associated with Artown, as well as family-friendly flicks at the Washoe County Library, movies at UNR, and at Squaw Valley by Lake Tahoe.
