( #about ) The Nevada Museum of Art is having it's first-ever sleepover starting at 5 p.m. on July 16 and ending at 8 a.m. on July 17. The event is titled Sleep with the Mummies! - A Night at the Museum and revolves around the exhibit To Live Forever - Egyptian Treasures from the Brooklyn Museum of Art.

During the evening and night, participants will have a flashlight tour of the Egyptian exhibit, watch the Ben Stiller movie Night at the Museum, enjoy hands-on art activities, and view the stars from the Museum roof. An evening snack and continental breakfast are included.
The sleepover is for children ages 7 to 12 and they must be accompanied by a parent / chaperone 21 or older. It's $65 per child ($55 for NMA members) and $15 for chaperones. One chaperone per every four kids is required for groups. There is a limit of 80 people.
