Vehicle break-ins - don't make it easy for the thieves

With warm weather and sunshine finally here, lots of us will be going places and spending more time outdoors. ( #about ) That frequently means leaving your car or truck unattended at trailheads, parks, or other public areas. It also means that car burglars are out plying their trade and looking to cash in on any valuable stuff within easy reach.

Don't make it easy for these thieves by being careless. They take the path of least resistance and will choose the car that's easiest to open and/or has the most cool stuff visible through the windows. There some simple, common sense steps you can take to minimize your chances of being a victim.
