The Washoe County Library System offers many free events, activities, and presentations during April, 2011 and throughout the year. Children of all ages, families, and adults will find something of interest at every library branch in Washoe County. In addition to the activities I've listed, each library branch has specific activities for patrons.
April 10 - 16 is National Library Week, a time to join our nation's libraries and librarians and Create your own story @ your library. First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association and libraries across the country each April.
