The Knitting Factory Concert House (The Knit) has proven to be a rousing success since it opened in downtown Reno on New Year's Eve at the dawn of 2010. The Knit keeps going on a formula of reasonable ticket prices and a wide variety of shows. The hottest bands get booked, along with some big names and a liberal dose of local talent. It also helps that most shows are open to all ages.

Some of the shows coming up this spring include The Young Dubliners, Seasons of Insanity, Talib Kweli, Bring Me The Horizon, and Dark Star Orchestra (Recreating The Grateful Dead), Bright Eyes, and many more.

The Knitting Factory Concert House in Reno is at 211 N. Virginia Street. The actual entrance is around the corner and behind the building, off 2nd Street in Fulton Alley. Call (775) 323-5648 for more information.
