The Nevada Historical Society is the oldest facility of its kind in the Silver State and it's right here in Reno. The name may sound kind of stuffy, but this place is full of interesting things and well worth a visit. Even if you aren't a history buff, you will find much of interest. There are changing exhibits and programs, some of which are suitable for families and children. The Museum Store is a good place to shop for items with a Nevada theme.
