With religious strife running rampant across the globe, learning about the beliefs of others is a good way to foster tolerance and lower the heat. The upcoming World Religions class offered by Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) is a way to do just that. The course will delve into the beliefs of 12 major world religions, including Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Judaism, Confucianism, Taoism, and others. Atheism will be on the table as well.
