There are two upcoming public town hall meetings about Nevada's state budget, scheduled concurrently in Reno and Las Vegas on Saturday, January 29. These should be an informative look at where the state might be going on budget issues as it gets ready to open the 76th Regular Session of the Nevada Legislature on February 7. Both meetings start at 9 a.m.
The Reno meeting will be in the Washoe County Commission Chambers, 1001 E. Ninth Street. In Las Vegas, go to the Grant Sawyer State Office Building, Room 4401, 555 E. Washington Ave.
