Founded in 1996 by students at the University of Nevada School of Medicine, the Student Outreach Clinic operates under the guidance of licensed physicians and provides free medical services not otherwise available to uninsured residents of Washoe County. Three clinics are offered - women's, children's, and general. Each offers a variety of services, including general medical care, physical exams, immunizations, pregnancy and STD testing, gynecological services, and nutrition counseling.
