The Reno Parks, Recreation & Community Services Department is offering camps for kids at four different locations over the Washoe County School District winter break. The camps are for ages 6 to 14. Each camp operates from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. The two sessions will be during the weeks of December 20 to 24 and December 27 to 31.

The standard Thursday registration deadline has been lifted and parents can register their children for camp by 9 a.m. the same day as attending. No late fee will be assessed. Financial scholarships are available for those who qualify.

Holiday Adventures is offered both weeks at the Plumas Gym, Billinghurst Middle School, and the Neil Road Recreation Center. Cost is $100 per child for the whole week and $25 for a single day.

Vacation Station is at the Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center both weeks. Cost is $100 per child for the whole week and $25 for a single day.

For camp schedules, options, or scholarship and registration information, call Youth Services at (775) 334-2262.
