With its 34-31 win over Boise State last month, a final WAC game win over LA Tech of 35-17, and a season record of 12-1, the Nevada Wolf Pack football team secured a spot in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl. The Wolf Pack will be taking on Boston College on January 9, 2011 at AT&T Park in San Francisco.

For the Pack to participate, the University of Nevada, Reno had to buy 11,000 tickets, which it is now selling at a rapid clip. As of Wednesday, over 7,000 had been sold. If you want some, I suggest getting them soon. Go to Nevada Football Bowl Central to buy tickets online and for more information about traveling to the game, lodging, game information, etc.

If you are thinking about getting on a bus full of Wolf Pack fans for the trip to San Francisco, you better do that real soon as well (I've seen reports that they are already sold out, and then again maybe not.). Here are three places to check...

The Pack is looking to end a four-game losing streak in bowl games. With thousands of fans in the stands for the Kraft Bowl, they should have plenty of encouragement to beat Boston. Go Pack!
