The Freight House District will offer food and drink specials throughout the day starting at 11 a.m. Ten percent of all food and beverage proceeds will go to the Food Bank to help support needy families this holiday season. Those who donate on December 3 will have the opportunity to win prize packages provided by the Aces and Bighorns. That evening, the Whitney Myer band will play at the Freight House District. The cover charge will be waived until 11 p.m. for everyone donating a food item.

Camp Christmas - RTC's Toyland Express will be parked at the corner of McCarran Boulevard and Kietzke Lane from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, December 3 to collect toys for Camp Christmas. The annual event is a cooperative effort with Reno Radio Representatives and Sunny 106.9 to benefit the Salvation Army and Toys for Tots. The public is invited to donate gift cards, new, unwrapped toys for kids, or warm clothes for seniors. Radio personalities will be on hand to accept the gifts. The location is in the parking lot near the old Krispy Kreme space, now Einstein Bros.
