Free Fall Programs at the Washoe County Library

Our Washoe County Library System is offering a number of free programs and activities to the community as we head into the fall season. Here is a partial list of what's happening...
  • Books with Beat @ Your Library - Fall reading series for kids of all ages.
  • Explore Reno's History through Postcards - Dick Dreiling presents the history of Reno from 1868 to 1920.
  • One Man's Experience in Afghanistan - Bob Stapp presents a "behind the headlines" perspective on the country.
  • The Magic & Music of Bruce Bryant - Bruce's magical antics have amazed audiences in almost half a dozen countries.
  • It's Your Estate Workshops - A series of free workshops on estate planning.
  • Tumbleweed Tex - This popular entertainer presents cowboy music, tall tales, true stories and lore.

All of these programs are free. For details on dates, times, and branches, check out the library's interactive Upcoming Events calendar. You can contact each individual library branch to find out which programs they will be hosting.
