The Biggest Little City is going to be having America's biggest tomato fight - La Tomatina en Reno. This second annual staging of the benefit event will be on Sunday, August 29 at Reno's downtown plaza (site of Rink on the River in winter). There will be a street fair and entertainment both before and after the tomato fight, and on Saturday, August 28 as well.

La Tomatina en Reno is being presented as a benefit by the Club Cal Neva and the American Cancer Society. With thousands of participants expected, interested tomato fighters are urged to pre-register online or by calling the Club Cal Neva toll-free at (877) 777-7303 or locally at (775) 323-1046. Twice as many participants as last year are expected, so being pre-registered will be a big help in getting things moving along.
