Remember the Nevada State Fair, held about this time since 1864? Well, it's still happening, but with a new name and theme - Nevada Territory Wild West Fair. You'll still recognize the good old days when agriculture was king and cotton candy was a special treat. What's new is an emphasis on the never-ending fascination with everything Wild West. New attractions and venues are set to include the Great American Wild West Show, the Great Basin Native American Gathering, the Comstock Civil War Re-Enactors, a Mining Camp, Western Frontier Town, Railroad Yard, mountain men encampment, stage coach rides, Old Mexico, and lots more.
